Our story
Alis Journeys began at a family dinner table, with maps spread between plates and arguments about which valley to drive through next. We grew up on those roads — Hunza in apricot season, Skardu under a cold clear sky, the shrines of the Punjab at dusk — and we kept meeting travellers who had only ever been sold two versions of Pakistan: a rough expedition or an anonymous package.
Ours sits in between. Considered, comfortable, and honest about cost. We drive the routes ourselves before we sell them, we stay in the guesthouses we recommend, and we pay the people who host you properly. Every itinerary on this site is a real trip we would happily take again — and every one of them can be reshaped around your dates, pace and budget.

From our journeys
Travel that gives back
A share of every booking goes back into the valleys we travel through — road and track repairs, clean water points, school supplies, and seasonal work for local drivers, cooks and guides. We hire locally in every region, use family-run guesthouses wherever we can, and keep our groups small so the places we love stay the way we found them.
Good to know
Is Pakistan safe for tourists?
The northern regions we travel in are welcoming and well-visited. We monitor conditions constantly, brief you before departure and travel with local guides who know each area.
When is the best time to go?
April to October for the north — blossom in April, clear peaks in summer, and gold-and-red valleys in autumn. Punjab is best from November to March.
Do you help with visas?
Full visa assistance is launching soon. In the meantime we send guidance on the e-visa process and provide the invitation documents you need.
Can I travel solo or as a private group?
Both. Join a small-group departure, or take any itinerary privately with your own vehicle, guide and pace.
